Austin Bank is proud to recognize Mariella Ramirez as our October Star of the Month. With more than 10 years of service to the bank, Mariella has built a reputation as a dependable, hardworking leader who brings energy and a positive attitude to every challenge. Whether supporting a customer, helping a coworker or stepping in wherever needed, she approaches her work with professionalism and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
Now serving as Retail Office Manager at the Troup location, Mariella has grown through several roles during her Austin Bank career. She began as a teller at the Jacksonville Drive-Thru and later served as Teller Supervisor for the Jacksonville Drive-Thru and South Jacksonville offices. That hands-on experience still shapes her leadership today. Coworkers say she treats her team fairly, sets a strong example and can always be counted on. She has even stayed beyond her regular hours to help tellers balance cash drawers, one of many examples of her willingness to work alongside her team.
Mariella’s leadership has made a meaningful contribution to the Troup office. Her reliability, dedicated work ethic and readiness to assist both customers and coworkers strengthen daily operations and help create a supportive workplace. She is known as a go-getter who welcomes challenges, and her fun-loving personality and unmistakable laugh make her a joy to work with.
Outside the bank, Mariella values time with her children, Olivia and Liam, and her close-knit family, which includes three sisters and one brother. Despite busy schedules, she and her sisters make time for dinner together each week. Mariella is closely involved in her children’s activities, including band, dance, soccer and swimming. She is a community volunteer working with the Jacksonville Education Foundation.
Through her commitment to customers, coworkers, family and community, Mariella reflects the Austin Bank values of unity, service and appreciation. We are pleased to celebrate her as our October Star of the Month and thank her for the difference she makes each day.
