When customers enter the Austin Bank office in Frankston, they are consistently greeted with a smiling face and a positive, friendly attitude. This helps set the stage for the rest of the customer’s experience and provides a great foundation for the team to build upon. We are honored to introduce our March Star of the Month, and the first contact you’ll meet upon entry into Frankston, Brenda McMichael.
Brenda currently serves as a customer service representative, and has the ability to build instant rapport, trust, and loyalty with everyone she comes into contact with. The joy and pride she takes in her job shows through her consistently positive attitude as well as her willingness to help others – be they customers or coworkers. Brenda excels in making customers feel valued, respected, and appreciated while going out of her way to ensure their needs are met. Customers frequently come in and wait just to be helped by Brenda because of the relationship she has built with them, and they don’t wish to see anyone else. She exhibits the bank’s core value of nurturing on a daily basis, even going so far as to make a homemade breakfast for her team ahead of an early meeting. There is no job too big or too small for her to happily take on.
A member of the Austin Bank team for 25 years, Brenda started with First State Bank, Frankston as a bookkeeping clerk and then moved into the customer service role. A long-time resident of Frankston and graduate of Frankston High School, she currently resides in Jacksonville to be closer to her son and grandchildren. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, and anything related to bees. Brenda is a member of Covenant Church in Rusk.
