Our August Star of the Month received numerous nominations from colleagues who consistently recognized her dedication and commitment. She truly embodies the core values of Austin Bank, and for the past three years has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to serving both our customers and her teammates with professionalism, integrity, and genuine care. Please congratulate Heidi Zwicker, Universal Banker in Timpson, on her selection as our Star of the Month.
Heidi is a joy to work alongside and brings a positive, pleasant attitude to the office each day. Her dependability and outstanding work ethic makes her someone her coworkers know they can always count on. Whether she’s handling routine responsibilities or tackling a complex challenge, she approaches every task with focus, attention to detail, and a determination to see it through successfully.
One of her greatest strengths is her willingness to go above and beyond. Heidi never backs down from a challenge and takes the initiative to find solutions rather than waiting for someone else to solve a problem. While the retail office manager was out of the office, Heidi discovered a case of fraud. She immediately contacted the customer and enlisted the help of other members of local management to find a solution. She paid attention to all the details, handled things professionally, and remained dedicated to fixing the situation even though resolving it took more than a week.
Heidi is also a natural leader who enjoys helping others succeed. After attending a training session that many of her teammates were unable to attend, she took it upon herself to prepare a presentation and create a detailed handout so she could share what she learned. She made sure everyone understood the material, demonstrating her commitment to strengthening the entire team – not just her own skills. Heidi’s professionalism, trustworthiness, and customer-first mindset are evident in everything she does. Her encouragement and willingness to support others have earned the respect and appreciation of everyone who works alongside her.
Heidi and her husband, Samuel, live in Center with their two children – Benjamin (Benji) and Sydney Jo. Originally from Illinois, she enjoys spending her free time outdoors, specifically kayaking, and hanging out with family. The family is active at First Baptist Church in Center.
