Community Involvement

Austin Bank in the Community

East Texas is our home and our legacy of service extends into each of our communities. For four generations the Austin Family has realized the need to maintain a bank that would provide the financial stability and trust to contribute to the growth and prosperity of their local communities.

The Bank's allegiance to the communities it serves continues to manifest itself through contributions in direct support of local education, the arts, literacy, health and housing needs as well as countless hours of volunteer service given by Austin Bank employees. Employee participation is encouraged in civic organizations throughout their communities, and many serve as Board members of non-profit entities sharing their knowledge and leadership skills

Charitable Contributions - Donations/Sponsorships

Austin Bank has a long history of assisting charitable organizations in the communities they serve. While we would like to help fund all worthy causes, we are unable to support each and every request. Primary consideration for financial support will be given to those organizations which provide services within the Bank's trade areas.

Before submitting a charitable contribution request, please note the following:

  • Organizations requesting a contribution must be classified by the Internal Revenue Service as eligible to receive a tax deductible contribution and include their 501(c)3 tax id number.
  • Organizations requesting sponsorship of an event must include all event details.
  • Requests must be made in writing. You may submit a request online by clicking here, or fax your request and any supporting documents to 903-839-8090 to the attention of the Marketing Department.
  • After review, you will be notified of the status of your request via email.
