October 2014 - Star of the Month - Lindy Moosberg

by Austin Bank 15. October 2014 11:26

In three years at Austin Bank, this month’s Star has made a name for herself in the Rural Market as being “versatile” and “flexible”.  These traits allow her to adjust to multiple office cultures and the various customer bases found there.  Congratulations to our October Star - Lindy Moosberg, Floater Teller for the Rural Market.

As a Floater Teller, Lindy not only handles the general duties of a Teller, but also the additional responsibilities and challenges that come along with the position.  Often travelling 50 – 60 miles one way, Lindy must adjust to various management styles and become acquainted with many customers.  She approaches each task with a positive attitude as well as the confidence and professionalism to tackle any job assigned.  “Lindy continues to be an asset to the Bank,” shares Kelly Tunnell, Retail Market Manager for the Rural Market.  “She has the ability to multi-task and helps in all functions of retail banking.”

Lindy’s experience proved valuable recently in the Gladewater office where she helped while the Retail Office Manager was out for surgery; there were several new Tellers and a new Teller Operations Supervisor.  She went above and beyond to help in every situation so our customers never knew a disruption in service.  And, she insured they experienced the best service available.  In addition to the Rural Market, Lindy has also helped in the Jacksonville and Tyler markets.  Supervisors in those offices have only praise for her work and gratitude for the help she brings to each location.

Lindy and her son, John David, live in Ben Wheeler with their pets - a dog, cat and horse.  She is a graduate of Van High School and Texas A&M University where she received an Animal Science degree.  She loves science fiction movies and considers herself a true ‘geek’.  Lindy is a member of the First Baptist Church of Edom and an Officer of the Van Soccer Association where she also helps coach.

“Lindy does an amazing job as Floater Teller.  She has the ability to multi-task, possesses excellent organizational skills, and provides back-up in all operational areas of the Bank.  I truly appreciate Lindy and her willingness to do the job to the best of her ability with confidence and integrity.”

Kelly Tunnell, Retail Market Manager, Rural Market

“We would love to have Lindy as our ‘all-the-time’ employee.  She has a fantastic attitude and is a joy to work with.  Lindy is a go-to person who is willing to help out wherever needed.  Our customers and employees all love her.”

Brenda Kaster, Retail Office Manager, Gladewater

“Lindy always has a smile on her face.  She makes the customers feel at home regardless of the office in which she is working.  Lindy has travelled several times to assist the Cherokee County region and we wanted to keep her!  She is a shining star for our company.”

Lisa McCoy, Retail Market Manager, Cherokee County
