Austin Bank Honors Tyler Employees

Austin Bank recently honored three Tyler employees at its 2007 Service Award Luncheon. Linda K. Douglas, Janice B. Dipprey and Susan J. Berry were each recognized for 10 years of service with the bank. 

They were among 32 bank employees recognized for outstanding service and longevity on the job at a luncheon held December 7 at the Willow Brook Country Club in Tyler.  The annual luncheon recognized Austin Bank employees who completed five, 10, 15, 20, or 35 years of service in 2007. 

“We are proud to recognize these employees. They work as a team providing financial services our friends, neighbors and the businesses within East Texas,” said Austin Bank Vice Chairman Jeff Austin III. “These valuable, loyal employees work to give our bank customers excellent service on a daily basis.”

“At Austin Bank our employees are the difference.  We proudly recognize the commitment and dedication each of these individuals has made to the Bank and its customers,” said John P. Williams, President and CEO.

The Tyler honorees each with 10 years of service are:

Linda K. Douglas is the Director of Retail Banking and an Executive Vice President based at the Tyler Downtown Location. Douglas joined Austin Bank I 1997 as the Branch Manager for the Austin Bank Van office.  She has more than 20 years banking experience in operations management, loans and retail management.  She is a graduate of Jacksonville High School and Tyler Junior College.  A resident of Van, Douglas is active in civic and community events.

Janice B. Dipprey is the Retail Office Manager and Assistant Vice President at the Tyler Med Center office of Austin Bank.  She has 25 years banking experience which includes 10 years with Austin Bank.  A resident of Tyler, Dipprey is a graduate of Brady High School and attended Tarleton State University.  She has also completed numerous banking courses on loans, mortgage lending, management and customer service.  Dipprey is a Board member of the Rose City Kiwanis Club and a Deacon at First Christian Church in Tyler.

Susan J. Berry is a Supervisor of Teller Operations in the South Tyler Austin Bank at 5515 Old Bullard Road.  She has been with Austin Bank 10 years working as both a Teller and Mortgage Loan Clerk.
