SUE VANACKER NAMED BIG SANDY RETAIL OFFICE MANAGER

Austin Bank Vice Chairman Jeff Austin, III recently announced the hiring of Sue VanAcker as Retail Office Manager at Big Sandy.

“Sue is a capable, skilled manager who can assist our customers with all their banking requirements,” said Austin.  “She has a strong background in operations, management and loans. This gives her the expertise to help the Big Sandy community with all their financial needs.”

VanAcker has more that 18 years banking experience acquired through work with Chase Bank, East Texas Professional Credit Union and Citizens National Bank in Sevierville, TN.  She has been a Loan Officer, Teller Supervisor, Data Processor, Teller and Assistant Branch Manager. VanAcker was recognized as Personal Banker of the Year by her former employer.

A current resident of Diana, TX, VanAcker relocated to East Texas about a year ago.  She is a graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, MS and several banking courses.
Her community interests include volunteering for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Rotary Club and the local Chamber of Commerce.
