Austin Bank Honors Rick Waldrop

Austin Bank recently honored Rick Waldrop, Executive Vice President and Regional President, at its 2007 Service Award Luncheon. Waldrop was recognized for 10 years of service. He was one of 32 bank employees feted for outstanding service and longevity on the job at a luncheon held at the Willow Brook Country Club in Tyler.
“At Austin Bank our employees are the difference. We proudly recognize the commitment and dedication each of these individuals has made to the Bank and its customers,” said John P. Williams, President and CEO.
“We want to acknowledge these employees and their contributions to the bank. They work diligently as a team providing financial services to our friends and neighbors, as well as the businesses within East Texas,” said Austin Bank Vice Chairman Jeff Austin III. “Rick is key loan administrator who focuses on our customers and their lending needs.”
Waldrop, who has 22 years banking experience, has previously served as a Manager in the Austin Bank Timpson and Rusk offices.
Waldrop is a graduate of Longview High School and Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Economics. A resident of Bullard, he and his wife, Janet, have a son, Jake, and daughter-in-law, Lindsey.
This year’s annual luncheon recognized Austin Bank employees who completed five, 10, 15, and 20 years of service in 2007.
Austin Bank, an East Texas based community bank with headquarters in Jacksonville, Texas, has in excess of $800 million in assets with 23 offices in nine counties throughout East Texas.
