AUSTIN BANK PROMOTES RENEÉ RICE TO COMMUNITY LENDER

Austin Bank Vice Chairman Jeff Austin, III recently announced the promotion of Reneé Rice to Community Lender in the new Longview Pine Tree office.  Rice joined Austin Bank in February 2005 as a Credit Analyst.

“Reneé is a dedicated employee who is a valuable part of the Austin Bank team,” said Austin.  “Her prior work in the bank’s Credit Analyst department gives Reneé extensive loan expertise.  She possesses both the knowledge and skills to handle the financial needs of our customers.”

Prior to joining Austin Bank, Rice worked as a CPA assistant and at several Longview businesses. 

A 2002 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, Rice earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.  She graduated from Tatum High School in the top 5% of her class. 
Rice’s educational training includes numerous banking courses that covered Community Bankers, Real Estate, Online Banking, Treasury Management, Secondary Mortgage Market and the Bank Secrecy Act.

Rice will be participating in the Greater Longview United Way ‘Loaned Executive Program’ in July.  She has also been active in local March of Dimes fundraising events.

Rice and her husband, Mark, reside in Longview and have two children, Emma and Eli.  She is the daughter of Eddie and Sue Sipes of Tatum.
