MARIA DAVENPORT NAMED ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT & CENTRAL EAST MARKET MANAGER

Austin Bank Vice Chairman Jeff Austin, III recently announced the promotion of Maria Davenport to Assistant Vice President / Retail Office Manager and Retail Market Manager for the Central East Market of Austin Bank. 

“As manager of the Central East Market, Maria will supervise teller operations in Whitehouse, Troup and Bullard,” said Austin.  “With 36 years experience in banking, Maria has both the knowledge and skill that is vital to providing exceptional customer service.  She is a valuable asset to the Austin Bank team.”

Davenport joined Austin Bank in 2005 as a Customer Service Representative in the Whitehouse office and was promoted to the Whitehouse Retail Office Manager in 2006 where she continues to office.

Davenport is a graduate of Whitehouse High School, attended Stephen F. Austin State University, Austin Community College, and Management and Supervisory College.  She has earned an AIB Certificate, Group One Insurance License and a Series 6 & 63 Investment License.

A resident of Whitehouse, Maria and her husband, Joe, have two sons, one daughter and three granddaughters.  Maria serves on the Board of the Whitehouse Cemetery Association and is a member of the Whitehouse Women’s Civic League.
