AUSTIN BANK NAMES LARRY LONG LOCATION PRESIDENT OF RUSK OFFICE

February 15, 2007: Austin Bank Chairman Jeff Austin, Jr. announced at the February Board of Directors meeting that Larry Long will join Austin Bank on March 5, 2007 as a Vice President, and will serve as Location President of the Rusk Office. Long comes from Cherokee County Teachers Credit Union where he served as Manager / CEO since 1994. Larry has over twenty-five years of management experience with financial institutions in Cherokee County.

“I am glad to have Larry on our team” said Jeff Austin, III, Vice Chairman of the Board. “Larry brings a lot of talent, knowledge and experience to Austin Bank. With his commitment to the community, he will be a valuable addition to our Rusk office.”

Long, a lifetime resident of Rusk, is a graduate of Rusk High School and Stephen F. Austin University. He is very active in civic and community affairs in Rusk and Cherokee County. Long is a member of the Rusk Chamber of Commerce, past board member of the Chamber and past President of the Rusk Economic Development Corporation. Serving on the Church Council and as a Trustee, Long is an active member of First United Methodist Church.

Larry and his wife, Beth, have two children, Stacy and Neill. Beth is employed by Region VII Service Center in Kilgore as a Head Start Assistant Director.
