Austin Bank Promotes Shawn Schrecengost

Austin Bank Chairman, Jeff Austin, Jr., announced at a recent Board of Directors Meeting the promotion of Shawn Schrecengost to Senior Vice President, Big Sandy President.

Schrecengost has 16 years banking experience. He has been with Austin Bank for 10 years and Location President of the Big Sandy office since February 2004. Prior to this promotion, Schrecengost worked in the Bank’s Gilmer, Quitman and Longview locations as a Vice President and Manager.

Schrecengost is a graduate of Hawkins High School and served in the United State Air Force for four years. He is a member of the Boy Scouts and the Big Sandy Economic Development Committee.
