AUSTIN BANK PROMOTES RICHARD SOLOMON TO REGIONAL PRESIDENT
October, 2006

The Board of Directors of Austin Bank recently
announced the promotion of Richard Solomon to
Regional President over the Tyler and Whitehouse
offices.
Solomon has over 19 years banking experience. He
joined Austin Bank in 1998 as a Commercial Lender
at the South Tyler office. In 2003, was promoted to
Manager, and in 2005 named Location President of
the South Tyler location. Solomon will continue to
office in South Tyler where he will be happy to assist
with all your loan and deposit needs.
Solomon is a graduate of W.T. White High School,
Dallas, Texas, Texas A&M University with a Business
Administration Degree, the SMU Graduate School of
Banking where he received the Outstanding
Leadership Award, and Leadership Tyler Class 13.
Solomon is active in the Boy Scouts of America where
he serves as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 369. He
served as 2006 Chairman of the Okee Tuklo District
Friends of Scouting Campaign and is a past Pack
Committee Chairman, Cubmaster and Den Leader -
Pack 369. Solomon also currently serves as President
of the Tyler/Smith County A&M Club and is a past
member of the Contact Club for the Tyler Area
Chamber of Commerce.
Richard and his wife, Kelly, have lived in Tyler for 16
years and are active members of Pollard United
Methodist Church. They have two sons, Adam and
Matthew.
