AUSTIN BANK NAMES KERRIE SIMS PRESIDENT OF TYLER WEST LOOP OFFICE

Austin Bank Chairman, Jeff Austin, Jr., announced the hiring of Kerrie A. Sims as the new Location President of the bank's West Loop office in Tyler.
"Ms. Sims is a focused team member, said Mr. Austin. "With her strong background in lending, operations and customer service, Kerrie has the experience that will enable her to fulfill the Austin Bank mission of serving the financial needs of our community."
Sims comes with over 12 years banking experience. She has worked as a customer service representative at Texarkana National Bank, a loan secretary at the First Bank of Arkansas, and most recently at Southside Bank as a loan officer and assistant vice president involved with consumer lending.
Sims is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She earned an Associates of Business Administration in Accounting from Texarkana College and completed various banking classes.
Sims lives in Lindale with her son, Dylan and is active in the civic and community affairs in Tyler and Smith County. She currently serves as a Board member and Co-Chairman of the Membership Committee for Tyler Sister Cities and has participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for the past seven years.
