AUSTIN BANK NAMES THE NEW CUMBERLAND PARK MANAGEMENT TEAM

At a recent Board of Directors meeting, Austin Bank Chairman Jeff Austin Jr., named Robert Hancock, President and Tamara Carder, Retail Office Manager of the Bank’s new Cumberland Park office that is currently under construction.
Robert Hancock, with 11 years bank experience, began his banking career at Austin Bank in Whitehouse. He later moved to First State Bank Frankston (an Austin Bank affiliate) as Vice President/Branch Manager of their Noonday office. In July 2006, Hancock was appointed President of the Austin Bank Tyler West Loop office.
Hancock is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, the American Bankers Association Branch Manager School in Austin and Leadership Tyler Class 16.
Hancock currently serves on the Board of Directors for the East Texas Food Bank, Junior Achievement and Leadership Tyler. He is on the executive committee of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, recipient of the chamber’s 2006 Mary Howes Award and the chamber’s Contact Club Chairman. Hancock is a member of the South Tyler Rotary Club and co-chair for the 2006 American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Tamara Carder joined Austin Bank in 2004 as the Branch Operations Officer of the Tyler West Loop office and was promoted to Retail Office Manager in March 2005. Carder, a 16 year resident of Tyler, is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, Texas Christian University and maintains her Investment License Series 6 and 63. She has seven years banking experience.
