AUSTIN BANK RECOGNIZES EMPLOYEES

Austin Bank recently presented 2006 Service Awards to 26 employees who were recognized for outstanding service and longevity on the job. The honorees were feted at a luncheon held at the Pinecrest Country Club in Longview on December 6.
“We are proud to recognize these employees. They work as a team providing financial services to the East Texas community we serve, said Austin Bank Chairman Jeff Austin Jr. “These valuable employees are dedicated, loyal workers who give our bank customers outstanding service on a daily basis.”
The annual luncheon recognized Austin Bank employees from its 21 branch locations. This year’s honorees had completed five, 10, 15, 35 or 40 years of service in 2006 and included:
FORTY YEAR SERVICE AWARD
- Jane Chapman of Frankston received a 40 year Service Award. Chapman is an Austin Bank Vice President and Director.
THIRTY-FIVE YEAR SERVICE AWARD
- Marolyn Keel, a Teller Operations Supervisor at the Tyler Med Center location, received a 35 year Service Award.
FIFTEEN YEAR SERVICE AWARDS
- John P. Williams, Austin Bank’s President and CEO, was a 15 year Service Award recipient.
- Pat Davis, a Vice President and Senior Operations Officer in Jacksonville, received a 15 year award.
- Debbie Braune, a Vice President in the Jacksonville Lending Department, received a 15 year award.
TEN YEAR SERVICE AWARDS
- Donna Corder, a Loan Secretary in Timpson, was a 10-year Service Award recipient.
- Sarah Minton, a Teller Operations Supervisor in Longview, received a 10 year Service Award.
- Larry Reed, the Emory Location President, was a 10-year Service Award Recipient.
- Frank Still, the Nacogdoches Area President, received a 10 year Service Award.
FIVE YEAR SERVICE AWARDS
- Laurie Adams, a Teller at the South Jacksonville location, was a five-year Service Award recipient.
- Judy Adams, a Teller and Operations Supervisor in Grand Saline, received a five year Service Award.
- Abigayle Berry, a Customer Service Representative in Longview, was a five-year Service Award recipient.
- Leann Chamberlain, a Loan Assistant / Secretary in Longview, was honored for five years of Austin Bank service.
- Melissa Cole, a Computer Technician and Helpdesk Assistant in Longview, was a five-year Service Award recipient.
- Debra Curbow, the Head Teller in Garrison, was recognized for five years of service.
- Shane Davenport, a Network Administrator in Whitehouse, was a five-year Service Award recipient.
- Bob Gage, the Location President in Bullard, received a five year Service Award.
- Maria Lobato, the Head Teller in Nacogdoches, was honored for five years of service.
- Dennis Means, a Data Processing Manager based in Longview, was recognized for five years of service.
- Luti Ortega, a Teller in the Jacksonville South location, was honored for five years of service.
- Raquel Pledger, a Teller in Timpson, was a five-year Service Award recipient.
- Kim Raney, a Senior Credit Analyst in Longview, was recognized for five years of service.
- Jennifer Sperier, a Bookkeeping Clerk in Longview, received a five year Service Award.
- Gayle Teer, a Loan Secretary / Processor in Emory, was honored for five years of service.
- Minerva Valle, a Teller in the downtown Tyler location, was a five year Service Award recipient.
- Erin E. Walker, a Loan Processor in Whitehouse, received a five year Service Award.
