AUSTIN BANK RECOGNIZES EMORY EMPLOYEES
December, 2006
Austin Bank recently honored two Emory employees at its 2006 Service Award Luncheon. They was among 26 employees recognized for outstanding service and longevity on the job at a luncheon held at the Pinecrest Country Club in Longview on December 6.
“We are proud to recognize these employees. They work as a team providing financial services to the East Texas community we serve, said Austin Bank Chairman Jeff Austin Jr. “These dedicated, valuable employees ensure that our bank customers receive excellent service on a daily basis.”
The annual luncheon recognized Austin Bank employees who completed five, 10, 15, 35 and 40 years of service. The Emory employees were Location President Larry Reed , the recipient of a 10 year Service Award, and Loan Processor Gayle Teer who received a five year Service Award.
Reed has been the Emory Location President of Austin Bank for 10 years. His 33 years banking experience includes more that 21 years in Production Credit. Reed is a member of the Emory Lions Club, Rains County Chamber of Commerce and the Rains County Livestock Community. Reed is a graduate of Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M University.
Teer is a Loan Secretary / Processor who started at Austin Bank as a teller. She is a volunteer for the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and the Crisis Center of Northeast Texas. Teer is a graduate of North Garland High School and attended Texas Tech University.
