Austin Bank Welcomes New Retail Office Manager, Trudy Harris

Austin Bank Chairman, Jeff Austin, Jr., announced at a recent Board of Directors Meeting the hiring of Trudy Harris as Retail Office Manager for the Austin Bank Marshall office.

Trudy Harris comes to Austin Bank from First National Bank and First Service Bank where she served as Bank Operations Officer. Harris, with twenty years banking experience, started out in Bookkeeping as a VOE high school student for First National Bank of Marshall and has worked in all areas of Bank Operations.

Harris is a graduate of Marshall High School, holds a two year certification from the Bank Operations Institute at East Texas State University of Commerce, Texas, and has taken numerous banking courses offered by the American Institute of Banking at Panola Junior College in Carthage, Texas.

Harris, a life-long resident of Marshall, is active in civic and community affairs. She currently serves as Treasurer for the Gym Fit Air Sports Booster Association and is a past member of the Marshall Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, American Business Women’s Association, Treasurer for the Marshall High School Choir Booster Club, and the PTA. Trudy and her husband, Pete, have one son, Zach, two daughters, Erica and Hayley, and a three year old granddaughter, Lexi. The Harris family attends Summit United Methodist Church of Marshall.
