AUSTIN BANK names Kent Bryson President of Kilgore Office

Austin Bank Board of Directors has announced that Kent
Bryson will assume responsibility as President of the City
National Bank (CNB) Kilgore office upon closing on the
purchase, scheduled for February 15, 2008. He will begin
immediately spending time meeting and becoming
acquainted with the Kilgore customers.
Bryson joined Austin Bank in November 2005 as Senior
Vice President, Commercial Lender in the Longview
Greggton office. In September 2006, he was named
President of Austin Bank Pine Tree and opened that new
office in June 2007. Bryson previously served as Senior
Vice President, Business Banking for Chase Bank
Longview. He has over twenty-eight years of banking
experience in management, commercial and real estate
lending.
Bryson is very active in civic and community affairs in
Gregg County where he presently serves as Rodeo
Committee Chairman of the Longview Rodeo, Inc. and is
a member of the Longview Partnership. He has served as
a Junior Achievement Consultant, and as Gregg County
Appraisal Review Board 2005 Vice Chairman.
Bryson is a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Texas A
& M University in Commerce with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Finance, Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at
SMU, National Commercial Lending School at Oklahoma
University, and a 2001 Graduate of Leadership Longview.
Kent and his wife, Lynn have two sons, Brent and Blake.
Lynn serves as Director of Community Services with
HeartsWay Hospice of Northeast Texas.
