Austin Bank prides itself on being a community bank where local people make local decisions. This month’s Star is an excellent example of the community bank model and providing trusted guidance, insight and recommendations to the people of his community. Please join us in congratulating Kyle Bridges, AVP/Relationship Manager, in our Timpson office on his selection as our Star of the Month for November.
Kyle worked for the Bank as a Teller in Nacogdoches while attending Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015. Though he left to pursue other opportunities, he returned to the Bank in 2018 as a Commercial Portfolio Manager in the Timpson office. Since that time, he has consistently grown relationships within his community while building his lending experience and knowledge. He was promoted to Banking Officer/Relationship Manager in 2018 and to Assistant Vice President earlier in 2022.
Kyle provides his customers more than just basic service. He strives to grow business for the Timpson office by consistently visiting customers and potential customers in the area, seeking to meet requests and find smart solutions. His degree in Agribusiness and experience in the cattle industry allow him to relate well to business owners, and he advocates on their behalf to find the best loan products to meet their needs. Kyle makes his customers feel valued and understood, prompting many to refer their friends and family to him. He has earned the respect of his community and is the go-to person in Timpson for financial assistance and advice.
A graduate of Quitman High School, Kyle met his wife, Hannah, while attending SFA. The couple now resides in Nacogdoches and is expecting their first child. Kyle enjoys working cows, riding horses, farming, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He is very active in his community, currently serving as a member of the Center Rotary Club as well as volunteering his time with Ducks Unlimited and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. He and Hannah are members of First Baptist Church of Nacogdoches.
